This coming Saturday, October 19th is a sewing Saturday. People are welcome to work on their own projects or some may be interested in making placemats for Meals on Wheels. Marg will be demonstrating an easy pattern for making placemats. These are quick to make and you may even have all 4 completed by the end of the day! Here is a list of materials needed:
- 4 coordinating fat quarters
- 7/8 yd of fusible fleece or batting
- 7/8 yd backing (can match one of the fat quarters used above)
- 5/8 yd binding
- Freezer paper (optional)
- pencil
- usual sewing can cutting supplies
We will be having a pot luck luncheon so please bring a dish or your choice as well as plate, cutlery, and cup.
Doors will open at 8:30 am. Don’t forget that there no longer is a user fee for Sewing Saturdays.
