Stash Bash for charity

We are pleased to support The Quilting Trunk’s Stash Bash. Here’s Joanne’s description of how The Stash Bash works.

“You go through your stash and find fabric you won’t be using.  Donate the fabric to The Quilting Trunk Stash Bash.  We then price it and resell it with the money going to a local charity.  We are accepting all kinds of fabrics.  Prices for the fabrics will be between $ 1.00 and $ 5.00 per piece.

All donated fabrics will be priced and ready for sale Friday, October 4th and Saturday October 5th.

The charity we have chosen to donate to this year is The Shake your booty hospital charity.  100% of the money raised from The Stash Bash will be donated to the renovation of  one of the palliative care rooms at the Dryden Regional Hospital, new windows, new bed, new TV, fresh paint and of course local artwork, also the purchase of a new anaesthesia monitor to monitor patients going under sedation, as well as the purchase of a new disinfector  for the hospital   We will accept any fabrics or cash donations for The  Shake your Booty fund beginning Friday September 27, 2013.

Drop off your fabrics no later than Thursday, October 3rd, 2013 so we have time to mark the prices on the fabric and are ready for the sale on Friday andSaturday.

Don’t forget to come in on Friday October 4th or Saturday the 5th to purchase The Stash Bash fabrics.

Thank you for participating,

Joanne Kusnick”

The Quilting Trunk is located at the Kusnick Electric building beside Dairy Queen on Highway 17.
