Twister class will take place Saturday, January 18th starting at 9:00 am. Doors will be open at 8:30 am. Everyone welcome. Contact Marg 807-938-1113 if you would like to participate.

Here are a couple pictures of a twister quilt made from a layer cake. The two outside borders require extra fabric. The
approx. size is 61″x61″ if using a layer cake or 10 inch squares.

Materials needed are as follows….

1 package of layer cakes ( you will use 36 )
1 1/4 yds for first border
1 1/4 for second border added after recutting.
( larger borders for the second border or adding a third will make a larger
quilt. You could also add more squares if you want a bigger quilt)

If you chose to use charm squares, 24 squares will make a quilt that
measures 19″x26″ and will use 1/3 yd for the first border.

Joanne will be bringing in layer cakes and has charm squares in her store.

Dori (from Sioux lookout) will be assisting with this course (weather permitting) and will bring
the twister tool in assorted sizes as well as some layer cakes and charm
squares.
