Freezer paper feathered star

Our Sewing Saturday April 6th will include the class “Freezer Paper Foundation Piecing” in which Karen Greaves will demonstrate foundation peicing using (and reusing) freezer paper while making a feathered star block. Advantages of using the waxy paper include no need for pins, ease of removing paper after sewing and ability to reuse the foundation papers.

Cost to participate is $11. To register, contact Hellen staffnh@drytel.net or use the ‘contact us’ page of this site. Course description and supplies list can be found here.

Sewing Saturdays are held at the Dryden Go-Getters Senior Centre on St Charles St. Doors open at 8:30, instruction begins at 9 and runs until 4 pm. Lunch is pot-luck and participants are asked to bring their own cutlery and plates. For participant guidelines, click here.
